Amazing difference over the last couple of days. The dig has progressed well and we're almost done. Next step is for the sheet piling welders to come and weld the seams of the piles.

Day 60 - The big dig is almost done

Day 58 - Basement excavation has started
After a week for the concrete to cure the basement excavation has started. 15 trucks of muck away today. 15 more booked for tomorrow and the same the next day.

Day 48 - Steel reinforcement for the ring beam
A couple of days delay in getting the shell on site for the ring beam bt now back on track.
Day 40 - Site hut erected
The log cabin we'll use as a site office has arrived and been erected. The kids reckon it will be a great den after the build.
View of the cabin from where the rear deck will be outside the kitchen window. Plot looks bigger now all the undergrowth and weeds have been cleared.
Day 36 - Concrete blinding
Getting ready for the ring beam, concrete blinding around the tops of the sheet piles.
