After close to 2 years we've broken ground.
On the second attempt at planning we finally got our planning permission granted on Christmas Eve 2010. A great Christmas present (not that the council bothered to tell us!)
It's taken the next 6 months working with the architect on detailed design, the structural engineer on the basement design and the timberframe supplier to get to start the build.
The house will be constructed with SIPS panels and have a sheet piled partial basement.
